Today I'm going to write about making money with your blog and tell you some of the best ways of making money with your blog. Now there are a lot of people out there who will say making money from your blog is wrong and that your blog should be done for free without any money making schemes attached to it. Well I say that its your blog and you have the right to do what ever you want with it basically, if you want to make money from it, that is your choice not someone else's, and hey people are going to read your blog whether your making money from it or not. Now on to some ways of actually making money from your blog.

Advertising
The first way of making money from your blog would be to use some sort of advertising, where you get paid every time someone clicks on ads in your blog. Now there are a number of advertising sites on the web which will pay you every time one of there ads is clicked, but there are only a few I would recommend for using on a blog, those being Googles Adsense and widgetbucks,

Adsense.
The most widely used form of blog advertising and probably the best paying out of any adverting program on the net. Adsense is the best beacuse of how it matches ads to your site's content, it also allows you to choose a number of different types of ads, these being text or picture ads and in formats that making them easy to incorporate into your blog. Adsense also has other ways for you to earn money, these being by google search, referrals, and video ads all of which can be used on your blog. Adsense is free to join and can be done so here

Widgetbucks.
Like Adsense widgetbucks will pay you everytime one of there ads is clicked on. Widgetbucks ads are a bit different from Adsense ads, the widgetbucks ads are mostly shopping ads which show you ads of products that you can purcahse. These ads would probably only work if your blog was based around a certain area, such as lets say movie reviews, if your blog was on movie reviews then you would set your widgetbucks ads to show movie related products such as DVD's. Widgetbucks ads are becoming very popular throughout the net and is free to join and can be done here

Other Forms of Making Money From Your Blog

Affiliate Links
Probably the best form to make money from your blog other then advertising is to use affiliate links, affiliate links are links which point to someones product your promoting and when someone buys that product through your affiliate link you make a commission off the sale. These links would best be used when writing an entry related to that product then telling your readers to look at your affiliates site for more information related on your entry, the key with this is not to make your entry seem like a sales pitch. Sites to look at are clickbank and commission junction

Donation Buttons
Donation buttons are a way of making money through your blog but you probably wont make much and will need to give your readers value for money if you want them to make any sort of donation, you can find donation buttons at Paypal

Merchandise
Some blogs have there own merchandise for sale, these usually being in the form of caps and t-shirts, but I wouldn't suggest this unless your blog becomes bigger then just an everyday blog.

Create and Sell Ebooks
Another good way to make money would be to create and sell your own ebook, this can be time consuming and needs to be of a professional standard otherwise you may get some reader backlash but it can be well worth it if you promote and get it right and get good reviews from it.
