In todays post I'm going to tell readers who have written an e-book and want to to sell that e-book but have had no luck getting people interested enough in it to buy it.
Ok so you've written an e-book, it's a master piece and your selling it on your website or blog and have been for a few months now, you've done lots of marketing and advertising for your e-book but still no sales why is that? The reasons why your book isn't selling is a hard one to answer it could be any number of things which I can't really give you an answer for, but I can give you some advice on trying to get more people interested in buying your e-book.
It's called scribd.com, scribd is a website in which you can publish your documents for free, how will this site help get people interested in my e-book I've written and give me sales you ask? Simple, you use scribd to publish an unfinished version of your e-book.
An unfinished version of your e-book only needs to be 1 or 2 chapters, but your chosen chapters need to interesting chapters, people have to be taken in by what they are reading so they will want to read more and at the end of your unfinished e-book provide a link so readers know where they can buy the finished product.
Why use scribd to do this and not your own site or blog? Easy scribd has thousands of people on there site each day so more people will read your unfinished e-book, which will lead more people back your site or blog which in turn will hopefully lead to more sales.

Need Advertising
Hey Readers,
In todays post I'm just going to tell you about a new advertising site that I setup the other day Called Pixel Adverts which offers people paid and free advertising using pixels. Now this concept of pixel advertising is not new and I think I've mentioned it in some of my post previously but for those of you who don't know about it I'll quickly tell you what it is and how it came about.
Pixel advertising was thought up by a chap from England named Alex Tew(check google for more info) back in 2005 with his advertising website www.themilliondollarhomepage.com and he sold tiny little squares or pixels at 10x10 for $100 and made just over a million dollars from it. Since then hundreds of these sites have popped up on the net offering similar advertising deals.
My pixel site is similar to Alex Tews in that you can buy life time advertising for $10 which will get you a 10x10 ad or you can take advantage of the free advertising section which lasts 30 days, then after it expire you can simply put your ad up again.

Ecrater?
Hi All,
With eBays new policy of no digital download items in affect I have been looking for new ways and sites which offer the same sort of functions as eBay does. Last week I mentioned a site called wagglepop which looks and feels exactly the same as eBay, but unfortunately being from Australia I can't use there site at the moment to sell my products. Lucky for me I heard about another site which is completely free and allows anyone from anywhere to setup a store.
The name of this site is eCrater and they allow people to setup a store and sell there products completely free of charge. So I joined up the other day and have started selling on there, at the moment I have yet to sell anything but I am getting a lot of hits on each of my products I'm selling and thats a good sign because it shows people know about the site and are searching for digital products on there.
On the down side to eCrater if your selling digital products, you have no option for immediate download after your product is bought so you need to clearly explain that the item will be emailed or a link will be provided within a certain time frame, I would suggest 24hrs or less. Also eCrater only allows buy it now so there is no auction type listing.
On the plus side to eCrater it costs you nothing to setup so you can list to you heart contents without worrying about a big eBay bill at the end of the month. eCarter has lots of payment options and the main this is that people are actually buying from the site and visiting the site and thats good for sellers.
I will be giving you regular updates on how my eCrater store is going through out the year and of course if anyone else has used or using eCrater to buy and sell goods please post your comments to tells us about your experiences
